ICAI Clarification : No leakage of DT Question Paper Nov 2016

Recently the information were posted on website as CA Final Direct Tax Paper are leaked (Check it out). They stated that “A news being circulated on social media that, CA Final Direct Tax (DT) was leaked and ICAI is going to hold the exam again” but in reality there is no such information on the internet except on the finapp website itself. They posted the rumour to marketing their website among CA Students. As i got the news that finapp making rumours and distract CA students, immediately i forwarded email to ICAI in this regard and i am happy that today ICAI made public announcement in this regard and give clarification on such information. I also requested ICAI in the email to take strict action on the websites to make such rumours and distract students from their studies.

No leakage of question paper relating to Paper 7, Direct Tax Laws of CA Final examination held on 13th November 2016.

Our attention has been drawn to some unfounded reports in social media on alleged leakage of question paper relating to Direct Tax Laws, Paper 7 of CA Final Examination held on 13th November 2016.

In this connection, it is hereby clarified that the above news is devoid of any truth and is unfounded. The examination was held smoothly across all the centres in India and abroad, as usual. No such incident of reported paper leakage has happened . Further there is no such exam centre as JKL Senior School either in Kolkata or anywhere in India or abroad where CA examinations were held in November 2016.

Students, members and other stakeholders are requested not to pay heed to such unfounded rumours and get misled.
